A hand-built series of semi-functional and sculptural work exploring glaze components outside the box of traditional use. Historically and practically, glaze provides a glass layer of protection and functionality for ceramic wares.

Inspired by the rumination on whether glaze can instead be used as a component of the form itself, these works test the limits between hybrid glaze/ clay bodies, and glaze materials as a constituent of overall form.

Each piece pushes the boundaries of conventional glaze use in a different way, and stands alone.
